Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker (+Dec. 6) is the patron saint of our outreach ministries. His selfless works of mercy towards the poor, and especially children, is a guiding light and inspiration for our faithful in their striving to be of help to those around us. Our parish is developing an extensive food and clothing resource. As we are able, we continue to extend ongoing assistance to those in need, materially and spiritually, as our charge from Christ, that we may serve our Lord Who is present in our neighbor.
Situated just inside the central entrance to the Center, our Parish Food Bank is now in need of stock items. If you are able to help us fill the needs of our neighbors, it will be greatly appreciated. You can access our current list of needed FOOD items by clicking here. Preparing and serving food for those in need - 11/24/2011
The faithful prepared Thanksgiving Dinner Meal Boxes for our neighbors in need who could enjoy them at home with their families. We also opened our doors on Thanksgiving Day to share a meal with our neighbors, and prepared food for those who are homeless and in shelters in the nearby area.
